Expansion of Excel-like functionality 

Alchemy is expanding its Excel-like features to our Lab Book tables with the enablement of copy/paste functionality and bulk delete. Users will now be able to copy and paste data from external sources directly into their Lab Book tables. 

Additionally, multiple fields within these tables can be selected for bulk delete of data. After selecting the desired fields, the user can right click any of the cells and select the Delete action to remove all data from the table. 

New Script Keyword

Alchemy has introduced a new script keyword which makes it possible to reference a field in its own calculation. ThisField enables calculations to check the state of the field before any recalculation is done, giving the user the  possibility to calculate values only for newly created rows in tables.

Creating a Workspace, and then quickly creating a Sample before Trial Material is done synchronizing with Type and Subtype, will result in an incomplete Sample property content.
