Chemical Properties

Users can now pull certain chemical property values directly from a chemical drawing. These added properties make the chemical drawing tool more powerful by allowing the user to pull information from their drawings automatically. 

Chemical properties include:

• Molecular Mass
  • Identifier: MolecularMass
  • Type: Number
• Molecular Formula
  • Identifier: MolecularFormula

• Atom Count
  • Identifier: AtomCount

Create a Material Record via Script Function

Users can now leverage Alchemy’s script function to create an ELN & LIMS Material record through any  record template they configure using the function: 

• CREATE_MATERIAL_RECORD()

User-Defined Recipe Data Copied for Newly Created Samples

New Samples are now created with no recipe data filled by default. There is a new option to fill all Sample’s Actual values at once with their corresponding Theoretical data. This gives the user the ability to quickly and efficiently fill the values of the Actual column.

Enable this feature by navigating to the Workspace record of your Lab Book. Materials and Samples have been added to the Trials table, along with Theoretical data for your recipe.

Locate the icon above the Sample Code column and click the icon.

Confirm that you wish to transfer the Theoretical values to the Actual Values column, potentially overwriting any values that may be present in that column in the table. Click Import.

Theoretical values have now been copied over into the Actual values column for all given materials in the recipe.

To import values for multiple samples at one time, locate the icon to the right of the Sample row header in the Trials table and click the icon.

Click the option to Import Values to the Actual. Confirm that you wish to transfer the Theoretical values to the Actual Values column, potentially overwriting any values that may be present in that column in the table. Click OK.

All Theoretical values have been copied over to the Actual values columns for multiple samples.

Vertical Keyboard Navigation

We have enabled vertical keyboard navigation inside ELN & LIMS tables. All four directions are now available for use to navigate the tables without having to use a mouse to get from one cell or table to another.

Improvements & Optimizations 

Improved Performance of Property and Condition Records

A dedicated structure has been introduced for Property and Condition records to improve overall performance and load time. 

Improved Performance of Stock Records

Stock template record generation has been enhanced to improve overall performance and load time. 

Visual Update to Phases

A visual update has been made to Phases so they are easier to distinguish in the Recipe table of the Workspace record to help users better navigate large tables.
