New Features

1. Secure Single Sign-On (SSO)

2. Connect with Other Software at the Click of a Button (i.e., Call External APIs)

3. More Field Properties Options When Cloning or Importing Records

Secure Single Sign-On (SSO)

SSO is a secure authentication mechanism that allows a user to log in to any of several different software systems at once with a single ID and password.

This will allow our users to use the same ID and password that they are already using, for example, for their Microsoft Account to also log into Alchemy. We will support SSO for Microsoft as well as Google, Okta, and SafeNet.

Connect with Other Software at the Click of a Button (Call External APIs)

With this capability, you will be able to securely integrate and exchange information with your other 3rd party software at the click of a button via our REST APIs.

Below are some common use cases or examples of how you might be able to take advantage of this kind of automation in your labs.

Being able to leverage data or functionality from other software at the click of a button in Alchemy will enable a truly integrated digital lab in your organization. Your core systems of record and lab equipment can be seamlessly connected, so your teams get the right data at the right time to work efficiently.

This option needs to be configured by your CS Manager, so please reach out if this is of interest.

More Granular Field Properties When Cloning or Importing Records

When either cloning or importing a record, Alchemy will now be able to configure the import of 100% of the record’s data OR set which specific field values should be left blank for entering new values. This option also needs to be configured by your CS Manager, so please reach out if this is of interest.
