AI/DOE Processing Steps

Processing steps inside the recipe are now supported by Alchemy AI and Design of Experiments in the system:


Generating Optimal or Screening Design

Add desired processing steps to the Constraints table in the Lab Book Overview and define targets. The Design Experiments button will become active.  

Click the button to generate the design with a user-defined number of trials in a new Screening Design Workspace record.


Analysis of Screening Design

At the bottom of the generated Workspace record is a button, Analyze Screening Design. 

Click this button to generate insights and display your screening design analysis results.


Generate an Optimal Design by changing constraint target values from between to constant and click Continue Design of Experiment generate the design with a user-defined number of trials in a new Optimal Design Workspace record.


Train AI 

Use Alchemy AI to surface dataset, Train AI and receive AI-recommended trials for material constraints with processing parameters. 

Once the dataset has been surfaced, users can train AI, design experiments, or proceed to formulating. Click the Train AI button to train the models and get performances of the best models. Once models have been trained click the Recommend Trials button to get trials with optimal test results.

Minimum and Maximum Number of Experiments with Processing Steps

Calculations for minimum and maximum number of experiments, which can be generated by Design of Experiments, are now adjusted to take into account not only constraints "between", but also constraints "any of" which are available for conditions with predefined values of a processing step.
