Features

New LOOKUP Function

A new calculation expression function is available. This LOOKUP function finds values based on provided parameters while helping configurators write expressions for calculated test results. This function will also allow for the use of more calculations in the tests section of records by enabling users to calculate within a given test method.

To apply this LOOKUP function, start by creating a test method and adding relevant properties to be tested. In this example, Initial Length and Total Length will be user-defined values in the Tests table.

Navigate to the destination property of your Workspace Tests table and Apply the LOOKUP function. In this example, ElongationDemo is our destination property.

In a Workspace record, a user will now add the corresponding test method to their Lab Book. Filling in the user-defined property values, the destination property values will automatically appear in the Tests table.

Improvements

Optimization of APIs

APIs have been updated to better distribute workload across Alchemy’s cloud systems to improve overall performance.

Data fetching for calculations has also been improved.

Maintenance Notification Page

A new maintenance notification page has been added to the system to alert users when data migration is still taking place and their tenant is temporarily unavailable. This page is available when:

The user logs into the system through the sign-in portal.

If data migration is occurring on their tenant, the maintenance page appears. However, the user is fully logged into the system.

If the user has access to more than one tenant, different tenants can be selected from the drop down on the maintenance page to see if they are available for use or also still undergoing migrations.

AI Multiclass Classification

🔐 Please discuss how to add this to your system with your CSM or Salesperson.

Train AI is now enabled for properties which have more than two predefined values.

Multiclass Classification Targets in Recommendations

🔐 Please discuss how to add this to your system with your CSM or Salesperson.

Recommendation of trials with optimal test results are enabled for datasets with properties which have more than two predefined values. In addition, multiclass classification targets in the case of predefined values (lower than, higher than, and between) are supported with these improvements.
