Purpose
This guide details the minimum system specifications required to successfully run Alchemy. These requirements are subject to modification based on software updates or enhancements.
Hardware Requirements
1. Desktop or Laptop:
- Processor: Dual-core, 3.0 GHz or higher.
- Memory (RAM): 4 GB minimum, recommended 8 GB.
- Hard drive: 240 GB or greater, with at least 60 GB of available space
- Network card: 1 GB recommended
2. Tablet (Optional for Mobile Access)
- Minimum Screen Size: 10 inches.
- Memory: 8 GB RAM or higher.
- Operating System: Latest version of iOS, Android, or Windows compatible with supported browsers.
Software Requirements
1. Browser:
- Fully Supported: Google Chrome (Latest 3 stable versions).
- Partial Support: Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), Safari, and Firefox (Latest stable versions).
2. Operating System:
Any operating system that supports a modern browser, such as:
- Windows 10 or newer.
- macOS (Latest version or two prior versions)
Internet Requirements
1. Bandwidth:
- Minimum: 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload.
- Recommended: 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.
2. Latency:
- Recommended: Below 100 ms for optimal response times.
3. Connection Type:
- Wired Ethernet preferred for stability.
- Wi-Fi networks must provide a strong, consistent signal (Wi-Fi 5 or higher recommended).
4. Network Configuration:
- Whitelist Alchemy’s domain and subdomains (to be provided during onboarding) in firewalls and proxies.
