Purpose
This guide outlines how to access and engage with system notifications for three core areas of the platform:
- Process
- Task
- Comments
Instructions
- All notifications are organized by type and displayed under separate icons.

- New, unread notifications alter the appearance of the icon to show the number of notifications in a red circle in the upper right corner of the icon.

- Clicking any of the icons will display a list of notifications for that category. Each notification will include:
- A brief description
- Date and time the notification was generated
- A circle icon to indicate an unread/read status
Figure 3. Notifications List
- Unread notifications will be displayed with a blue circle to indicate their status. This can be changed by:
- Clicking the blue circle of an individual notification to change it to read
- Clicking the bell icon in the upper right corner of the list to mark all listed notifications as read

- Read notifications will be displayed with a white circle to indicate their status and can be reverted back to unread by:
- Clicking the white circle of an individual notification to change it to unread
- Clicking the bell icon in the upper right corner of the list to mark all listed notifications as unread

- Clicking on a notification will navigate the user to the associated record or process.
