View and Use Notifications

Purpose

This guide outlines how to access and engage with system notifications for three core areas of the platform:

• Process
• Task
• Comments

Instructions

1. All notifications are organized by type and displayed under separate icons.

2. New, unread notifications alter the appearance of the icon to show the number of notifications in a red circle in the upper right corner of the icon.

3. Clicking any of the icons will display a list of notifications for that category. Each notification will include:
   • A brief description
   • Date and time the notification was generated
   • A circle icon to indicate an unread/read status

4. Unread notifications will be displayed with a blue circle to indicate their status. This can be changed by:
   • Clicking the blue circle of an individual notification to change it to read
   • Clicking the bell icon in the upper right corner of the list to mark all listed notifications as read

5. Read notifications will be displayed with a white circle to indicate their status and can be reverted back to unread by:
   • Clicking the white circle of an individual notification to change it to unread
   • Clicking the bell icon in the upper right corner of the list to mark all listed notifications as unread

6. Clicking on a notification will navigate the user to the associated record or process.
